dragon gateway

Saw an item in a paperthe other day, apparently the gogs are going to construct a large welsh dragon on the border with england, the article said it will be even bigger than the angel of the north.
If the artists impression is right it will be big and beautiful!!.

If there wasn't so much bloody apathy here in the south, we could have had something similar this side of the severn

We should have at least 3 along the border on the main inward roads.

YES !!!, we could have had a stunning dragon instead of something that looks like a kids adventure playground.

Why would we want one though? These monuments reek of phallicism, "look how good we are, we have a big statue!". A simple Welcome to Wales sign with a nice quote about the country under it would be a much more dignified way to do things.

Of course, that's why we'd want a "big one"
