This page is for all those wishing to come to Ponty and the valleys, for those wishing to escape our beautiful town for a fortnight in August or for the more adventurous who just want to get out for a better life overseas! Ponty is very short on accommodation although Cardiff obviously has hundreds of places for all budgets. Travel has never been easier for us these days although Cardiff Airport is pretty limited in where it flies to. Emigration is also on the increase, probably due to Ponty not having a swimming pool, a sports centre or a regional rugby team anymore, so we've included a few links here as well.
Places to stay
To be honest we don't know a single place to stay in Ponty. If you run a B&B in Ponty please let us know and we'll add you to our very short list.

I suppose we might suggest that there is a potential market here for someone to open up a good B&B in town as many people must visit Ponty, if only to see family. Perhaps Ponty should promote itself more as a tourist attraction to encourage more visitors? After all we have the Park, tons of history, the Taff Trail and beautiful scenery.
Leaving town?
Cardiff Airport flies to a couple of places worth going to but to get further a field you need to try London's airports.
