WHAT'S ON GUIDE

There are a number of "What's On" guides in Ponty and RCT but little joined up thinking. For example the town council only advertises events organised by the town council rather than events in town. RCT seem to have hardly any decent events in the Muni but many more in Aberdare and Treorchy? There is an RCT Arts website and a RCT What's On website, as well as a Destination RCT website and I Love Ponty website. All we can assume is that someone knows someone in the web design industry :) Anyway, here is a selection of links to sites that provide information on what to do in and around South Wales as well as Ponty.

Feel free to advertise (but don't spam) local events on our message board and always remember to check there for events.

Various departments within RCT and various other organisations have been told (for the past 12 years) that they can promote events FREE on our board so hopefully they will do so soon to keep us all informed. You can't beat free advertising surely? Paid adverts can also be added to our business directory - just click here. These adverts are more permanent of course.

If you have a website that lists events and want us to list you here free then contact us on djlewis1966 at yahoo.co.uk or via the message board and we'll get back to you. We have got in touch with various "cloned" RCT websites to ask if they'll exchange links with us but so far all bar one have refused which is a shame seeing as we get about a 1,000,000 more hits each month than they'll ever get but then again maybe they need to form a committee to vote on it?
