Call For Entries – Wales’ Biggest Poetry Contest!
Wales‘ biggest (and some would say best) poetry contest is now open again and accepting entries!
The International Welsh Poetry Competition returns with judge, Mick Evans, picking the winners. This will be our 17th year of running the competition and we expect a bumper year of entries.
Entry forms will also be winging their way to libraries and writing circles all over the UK during January although you can of course just download one from our website in the usual way.
1st Prize – £500
2nd Prize – £250
3rd Prize – £100
Our judge for 2023 will be Welsh writer, poet, filmmaker and environmental campaigner Mick Evans
Entry fee – £6
Closing date – 4th June 2023
